I have been reading many of the fellow Triber's post regarding Costa Rica and Belize all have been very helpful. I wanted to know if anyone could recommend one country over the other or if anyone could share stories of journeys to and from each country. Anything will help, i am pretty intent on travelling through both countries...Blessed Love...

I don't think Costa Rica has the sort of stunning snorkeling/scuba that Belize has, does it?
The snorkeling in Belize is beyond amazing.
Likewise, Belize does not have the incredible jungles like Costa Rica.
I don't think you can loose with either trip!

BOTH!
Although BZE is a bit more expensive, it offers better snork/scuba.
Bze is great for Maya ruins and scuba, but NOT beaches.
If you want beach and jungle go to Costa Rica or Panama is equally amazing! -

Mon, July 21, 2008 - 7:47 AMBeen to both and decided to buy and live 1/2 time in BZ- in the mountains. Jungle? You want jungle, you get jungle and wildlife. plus more.
I would gently argue that Belize is COMPARABLE in cost with Costa Rica. BTDT and my sis is looking for a space in Costa Rica because of the geologic (volcanic) features but prefers BZ for the water sports off shore. I went for balance and my natural interests and I'd not second guess myself ever on Belize.
Belize hands down. Evil grin- I have absolutely no biases... oh no, not me... HAHAHAHAHA!
