Andy Palacio, belizean garifuna artist, will be performing in Santa Cruz, california this sunday August 5th...just google moe's alley and santa cruz...they just played at stern grove in San Francisco and actually brought out some of the local Belizeans in the bay area--it was awesome... one of the guitar players, sam, used to run Culture Club in San Ignacio, Belize (i don't know what the new name is--coconutz? the bar by the river in town) and was my next-door neighbor in San Ignacio...it was a good time in SF and will be in Santa Cruz, getting to hear some good belizean garifuna tunes--well worth it!
