Re: Hello, Hello!
Sat, May 6, 2006 - 5:43 PMHello Tilde M:
I'll keep it short; if I ramble on just hit me!
I knew from the first time I came here on a cruise around 5 years ago that I'd live here. Stayed for months at a time, and I fianlly moved here over a year ago. Was offered a professor job, ensuring my 'thank you for making me the luckiest longhair in the world' prayers to God for a while to come. I work at a local college, Sacred Heart, teaching all the geeky stuff, like computers, math, and accounting. Planning on getting another Master's at our sister University, Galen, as soon as they offer a Master's of Education(Jan07)
Was taught, thanks Mom, to always give back to society what I've taken from it, so in my spare time, which just got a lot less spare due to the end of the semester, I use my Neuro-Muscular Massage training and do gerontological rehab at the local hursing home, the Octavia Waight Centre. They don't call me Dr Feel Awesome for nothing!
Lastly, in keeping with my New Year's resolution of 'Keeping in touch with my inner tourist,' I take at least one vacation a month to Mexico, Guatemala, or the Cayes(pronounced /keys/) So life in paradise is Supreme, and that's on boring days! I chose the best place in Belize to live: San Ignacio(I found out by living on Maui that an island just isn't the best place to live) The Cayo district is the nicest district in Belize, with more attractions than all the others combined. There's also a great nightlife, and the coolest bar in Central America: Cocopelli's. There's an endless supply of places to bike to, and I try to go tubing at least once a week.
Getting close to the hitting point, so I'll stop there.
Peace, Love, and Boatdrinks,
-MM (yeah, M squared, some kind of irony there)
